The BCAA method isn’t right for everyone, as you said, but for those who do participate, it’s a great amplifier when it comes to fat loss and muscle preservation. Great article.

This is very interesting. What do you think about splitting the workouts in two parts, the morning part is for fat burning ( about 10-15 minutes of HIIT, followed by 1 or two hours without a meal ), and the evening workout is strength training to gain muscle ( followed by a protein shake ) ?. I am testing this theory my self right now.

I thought your posting was interesting. However, I was always under the impression that if you’re doing heavy weight training, you definitely need to eat more calories and carbs on work-out days and before your actual work-out. This gives your body the fuel it needs to complete heavy lifting. Careful selection of foods will minimize the fat gain during that time.
